چکیده

The trend regarding providing more distributed solutions compared to a fully centralized operation has increased the research activities conducted on improvement of active regional communities in power system last decades. In this study, an energy management-oriented decision-making mechanism for residential end-users based local community is proposed mixed-integer linear programming context. concept normally includes inflexible resiliency-sensitive load–demand activated as flexible during abnormal operating conditions, fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) fed via hydrogen provided by electrolyzer unit connected and capable acting vehicle-to-grid (V2G) mode, common storage photovoltaic (PV) generation units dispersed PV generating options at end-user premises. combination hydrogen–electricity chain with V2G capability FCEVs loads together ESS provides novelty study brings existing literature. was tested under different case studies also objective functions.

Optimal Intelligent Control of Plug-in Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles in Smart Electric Grids

In this paper, Plug-in Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (PFCEV) is considered with dual power sources including Fuel Cell (FC) and battery Energy Storage. In order to respond to a transient power demand, usually supercapacitor energy storage device is combined with fuel cell to create a hybrid system with high energy density of fuel cell and the high power density of battery. In order to simulate the...

A Mechanism for Value-Sensitive Decision-Making

We present a dynamical systems analysis of a decision-making mechanism inspired by collective choice in house-hunting honeybee swarms, revealing the crucial role of cross-inhibitory 'stop-signalling' in improving the decision-making capabilities. We show that strength of cross-inhibition is a decision-parameter influencing how decisions depend both on the difference in value and on the mean val...

Fuel Cell and Battery Electric Vehicles Compared

Detailed computer simulations demonstrate that allelectric vehicles will be required to meet our energy security and climate change reduction goals. As shown in Figure 1, hybrid electric vehicles (HEV’s) and plugin hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV’s) both reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, but neither of these vehicles that still use internal combustion engines will be adequate to cut GHGs ...

A BI-LEVEL LINEAR MULTI-OBJECTIVE DECISION MAKING MODEL WITH INTERVAL COEFFICIENTS FOR SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATION

Bi-level programming, a tool for modeling decentralized decisions, consists of the objective(s) of the leader at its first level and that is of the follower at the second level. Three level programming results when second level is itself a bi-level programming. By extending this idea it is possible to define multi-level programs with any number of levels. Supply chain planning problems are co...

A Cost Comparison of Fuel-Cell and Battery Electric Vehicles

This paper compares the manufacturing and refueling costs of a Fuel-Cell Vehicle (FCV) and a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) using an automobile model reflecting the largest segment of light-duty vehicles. We use results from widely-cited government studies to compare the manufacturing and refueling costs of a BEV and a FCV capable of delivering 135 horsepower and driving approximately 300 miles...
